"Deserts"!

Moses led the hebrew children out of

egypt,
a unruley people,disobedient,in many ways.
With thoughts of easy groceries,and
many gods to worship.
Tainted by the easy living in a foreign land.



He was a shadow this man of God,
of the Christ to come.
His love burned in his heart for his God.
The hearts of this people he led into the desert
amazed him.
With moanings and groanings,for food,and water;
they plagued him for those comforts left behind



As God moved His people,He saw to their needs.
To a selfish people,not enough for contentment.
Moses lifted the bronze serpent for healing,
and still some refused to look at it.
No life,many died from pride,
when obedience was the name of the game.



Moses felt the failure of a confused people,and
never entered the promised land.
When out of disobedience,
he struck the rock,instead of touching it.
After interceeding for some 3 million plus souls,
it would seem there was no one to interceed for him.



He loved God enough to hear and obey,
that intimate relationship,special to each other.
We could have that,like all the Patriarchs.
If we would lay down our selfishness,
and yield totally to Him, asking forgiveness.




Then shall we know,if we follow on to
know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as
the morning; and he shall come unto us as
the rain,as the latter and former rain unto
the earth.

Hosea 6:3

be patient,for it isn't a punishment from your God.It is a place to get it all together

by you,for you. So ready yourself for better things to come, which needs preparation

by you .A gift from your God,a blessing;a joy.
